Identifying the content of the site:
.gov - Government Agency
.net - Service Provider
.com - Commercial site or business
.edu - Educational Group
.Mil - Military site
.org - Organization
Although the internet is a great place to find information, it also is the home of many scams and hoaxes. To look out for a Hoax you need to:
1. Examine site for authenticity of topic. If information is wrong or the site isn't related to the topic, then it could be a scam.
2. If the site asks for donations or any type of exchange of currency, then it is most likely a scam.
