Your task for this Web Quest is to find out how much drawing styles and techniques have changed (or not changed) in the last several centuries.

Do contemporary artists use the same materials, tools and processes that artists did 10o, 200 or 500 years ago? If not, have the artist's methods and materials changed for the better or for the worse? Do artists draw the same subject matter now as they did long ago?

Why should we, as artists, care about all of this? Does it help us, as artists, to understand art history, contemporary artists and their work?

The Web Quest assignment must be done individually with unique work turned in by each student; however, you are welcome to help each other if needed.
